As a former 
VC associate working with founders in SG, India, Indonesia, my job was to source founders early, earn meetings and figure out what was real. Then synthesize what I learned into memos, pitches that drive investment decisions. 
Similar to when I hosted my 
Rice People Podcast. I had long-form convos with interesting people across SEA: founders, a funeral director rethinking tradition, a coding non-profit in Cambodia, an indie game builder in Manila. Every episode meant cold / warm outreach then making sure we ask the right questions to ensure it's worthwhile for the guest and listeners.
I turn what I learn into stories @adilatwork. From Dyson farms to election policy. Taking niche complicated things and making it land with a broad audience.
And I build community in-person, not just online. @half.baked.home started as a lifestyle account that became a reason for strangers to meet. Evenings where engineers sit beside artists, outdoor content creators. And even creative fairs.

One of the most AI-pilled principals in Singapore — runs hackathons for his own teachers to build prototypes, so AI adoption comes from people who actually want to use it rather than a top-down mandate.

Uploaded 8,000-plus products from her shop's old point-of-sale system and told AI they had no correct category, asking it to sort them for the new one. Five days of manual work by hand, done in two.

Was building tools his own students used within weeks of ChatGPT's release, years before any school mandate — question banks and diagrams for his chemistry classes, and a retrieval tool that points students to the right notes and videos.
